• An Insight to My Life •

Brave, witty and daring, These were the words that spoke through her eyes. Rebellious, only in her dreams. All her life, she wanted to be free. To call herself her own, but she could not and she never will. She would care so much for those who did not, mistakenly trust in those who did not trust her and waste her time on people whom she thought were important to her.

She is sad but still continues to smile.

Born on the 23rd of October, in a hospital in Manila. Was scrawny, sickly and bug-eyed. Growing up, she began to eat. From time to time she would pick out the vegetables on her plate and stick to eating food of protein. She became overweight; not until the age of 10 did she learn to eat and exercise. She was athletic and active in extracurricular activities. But she knew all good things had to come to an end and focused on getting good grades so she could enrol in a good college. And she did.

Had moved from Makati just months ago, now residing in Paranaque City. The oldest and not to mention, the only girl in three children. She lives a charmed life. Living with her family, travelling together when they have the time, checking in to the most beautiful hotels to stay for a few days and relax. They were fortunate to still have each other unlike some families.

Before leaving High School, she left with her significant other. He was a year ahead but they were the same age. Just months older than her but their treatment towards each other was unlike anyone else's. They were best friends and lovers. She had met him on Christmas Day, in her second year in High School. Since then they have had casual but not as interesting conversations. He then asked her to be his when he finally had the guts to admit that he's had a crush on her since the first time he decided to say hello on her social media account. She continues not to believe him about that for she has her reasons.

He was her escape from everything. He was always there to comfort her. To guide her through the rough world that is life. To hold her tight when she felt like falling apart. She was crazy, immature and young; they were the same. She's had so many people enter and leave her life all of a sudden but he was the one who stuck next to her. True love used to be an illusion to her but because of him, it now seemed real.

She is in love. In love with the thought of someday graduating and being independent. She has so many high hopes and dreams that she pushes through. Graduating first than others, no subjects to retake. Living in a condo unit which she pays herself. Travelling with the love of her life, to places she's seen in movies. Landing a career she's always wanted; having made so much money that she could buy anything her parents would ask for. And someday starting a family of her own.

She believes that everything she puts her heart into, she'll get. As long as she keeps her eyes on the prize and works hard for it, she will soar.

Life would not always go her way but she accepts whatever happens. She knows there is nothing she can do but continue to learn from past mistakes, try harder to reach her goals and accept the outcome. Although not at all times would she be too understanding, she does her best to think more about things rather than complain. Life to her is strange, the world to her is a mess. Yet she knows life goes on. She is strong and she will continue to be. The world will never stop her.

She, ladies and gentleman, is me.
